What is it?

"Extended Warranty", an extension of the original warranty for a longer period (up to 3 or 4 additional years).

What to do in case of a breakdown?

  1. You contact Magarantie on 0810 10 10 34 from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  2. Magarantie organizes the repair of your aircraft with its after-sales service partner (245 technical stations nationwide).
  3. Once the repair is carried out, the repairer is paid directly: you don't have to pay anything!

What is accidental damage?

Accidental damage is considered to be any destruction or deterioration of the Insured Device that interferes with its proper operation and that results from a sudden, unforeseen, irresistible event, external to the beneficiary and the Insured Device, and that constitutes the exclusive cause of the accidental material damage suffered by the Insured Device, and subject to the warranty exclusions.

Will my appliance be repaired at home?

  • If the Insured Device is a screen greater than or equal to 32" (82 cm) or a device that weighs more than 20 kg, then the Insured Device will be repaired on site or removed at no charge and sent to an authorized service center or service provider.
  • Otherwise, you must send the insured appliance to the authorized repairer indicated by the insurer. You will be responsible for any return shipping costs, and you must follow the packing instructions and the shipping method indicated by the insurer.

What should I do if I sell my device?

The Warranty is transferable: you sell your unit, you can also transfer your Breakdown Warranty. In this case, simply write, indicating your contract number and the contact details of the new holder.

What if I change my mind?

You can cancel your contract by written request (registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt) to "Magarantie 128 rue La Boétie - 75008 Paris" indicating your contract number.
If you cancel the warranty before it takes effect, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel the warranty after one year from the effective date and no repair or replacement has been covered, your premium will be refunded in proportion to the insurance premium corresponding to the unexpired annual period(s) of insurance.
No request for cancellation will be accepted if a repair or replacement has taken place during the effective dates of the warranty.
