Technology and Manufacturing

At the heart of the SuperLine is a new discrete, unbalanced, two-level Class A amplifier with partially passive RIAA correction that employs 25 internally regulated power supplies and benefits from the "quiet room" thermal isolation technique at the transistor. This technique was originally designed for the NAP 500 power amplifier. Environmental isolation is also ensured by the SuperLine's massive subframe and the high-quality spring suspension system, which is used here for the first time in a phono amplifier.

Dual BNC and phono sockets ensure input versatility, and adjustment for cartridge impedance is achieved by four resistive and three capacitive load taps. In combination with the SuperLine's internal input load, twenty different standard load combinations are possible.

The SuperLine is also available in a lower gain model, the SuperLine E. The SuperLine E is identical to the standard SuperLine, except that it has been designed for use with cartridges with higher output voltages than the most commonly used voice coils, such as high output voice coils.
